Boxper is a family-owned business in New York City that sells and delivers moving boxes and packing supplies. In this policy, “Boxper,” “we” and “us” mean our business and our website, boxper.com.

When you place an order or create an account, we collect:

• Your name, delivery address, email address and phone number
• Your order details: the items you bought, prices and delivery instructions
• Optional answers about your move, such as your moving date and the zip code you’re moving to
• Your account login, if you create an account

When you browse our site, we and our service providers automatically collect basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.

• To process, deliver and support your order
• To text or call you about your delivery, for example when we’re 30 to 60 minutes away
• To send order confirmations and delivery updates by email
• To answer your questions and handle cancellations and refunds
• To plan deliveries, keep the right stock, and improve our products and service
• To prevent fraud and keep our site secure

Your answers about your move are optional. We use them only to understand our customers and plan better.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your full card number goes directly to Stripe and is never stored on our website. Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to the payment information you give them.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with companies that help us run our business, and only as much as they need to do their job:

• Stripe, to process payments
• Our website host and email provider, to run the site and send emails
• Our delivery team, to bring your order to your door
• Service providers listed in the Cookies and analytics section below

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

Our site uses cookies, which are small files saved in your browser. They keep items in your cart, keep you logged in, and remember your preferences. Our online store can’t work properly without them.

Our reviews section shows reviews from Google. When it loads, Google may collect information about your visit under Google’s own privacy policy.

We may use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use our site. These tools collect information like the pages you visit and how long you stay. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site, like the cart, may stop working.

We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal purposes. We keep account information until you ask us to delete your account. Technical and analytics data is kept for a limited time and then deleted or made anonymous.

Our site uses a secure, encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only people who need your information to fulfill orders can access it. No method of storing or sending data online is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

• You can view and update your account details at any time by logging in.
• You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• You can ask us to correct or delete your information. We may need to keep some order records for legal or accounting reasons.
• You can unsubscribe from any marketing emails using the link in the email. You’ll still get emails about your orders.
